“I would rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.”
4 quarters and 100 pennies are still equivalent to one dollar, but it’s the quality, not quantity. I would rather have close best friends than tons of acquaintances. I don’t need to have tons of “friends” who don’t know anything about me. I don’t need to have “friends” who I share no common interests with. The more friends you have, doesn’t make you better than anyone else. Because if you really narrow it down, how many of them are actually going to be there for you when you’re at your lowest? Be careful who you call your friends.
